A few months ago a friend and I were discussing how we wished we had more time for errands without kids. We were also discussing doing more crafts and learning activities with our boys. So, we decided to start switching off every Friday morning and taking turns having the boys. We make sure to teach them a new letter each week, complete a few crafts/activities and have a letter themed snack. It has been so great! I get 2 hours every other week to myself and Jake is socializing and learning with a friend. Here are a few snaps from our fun mornings.

shaving cream experimentThis morning we were invited by friends to go to the Please Touch Museum. It was AWESOME. Definitely recommend it to anyone and I am seriously thinking about getting a membership. It was a great way to spend the morning. Jake could have stayed there all day. He loved being able to touch and play with everything. Thanks again for the invite!!!!

jo, your blog is adorable! it's like the ultimate bulletin board that can just be changed constantly! i love it! and thanks for the shabby blogs idea...they have great stuff. i've already sat here way too long playing around with it!! hope you guys are doing well! i can't believe how big jake is...his baby face is gone and there's a little boy there now!
