Last week, Jake attended his first vacation bible school. I wasn't sure how he would do because he has never had any activity every day for five days straight. The first day he said he didn't want to go. However, the second we pulled up to church and he saw the big boys greeting everyone at the door... he started running to give them high fives. From that moment on... He was all about VBS. He absolutely loved singing worship songs at the beginning and end of each day. He would dance, jump and sing his little heart out. My little dancer. They also did crafts, games and had special snacks. His favorite snack was a plate of vegetables made into a face. Who would have thought? I wonder if he actually ate them though... I was relieved to see him adjust so easily and do such a good job. His teacher even told me that he was a great listener and the only one in class to memorize one of the daily verses. Go Jakers!

Crazy Hat Day

Favorite Color Day

The daily offering contest... He loved this because we would collect whatever coin day it was. Penny day, Nickel day etc. Then, they had a contest to see who raised the most money each day, boys or girls. Ended up being a tie.

Dancing away

Opening prayers. This picture is particularly precious to me.
